PORTRAITS OF AMUR TIGERS AND CRANES
Viktoriia’passion is the nature of her Motherland
Viktoriia loves to draw since childhood. In 9th grade she started to attend classes on "Art painting and wood carving" where she was introduced to the traditional Russian art styles like Khohloma, Zhostovo etc. Gradually she moved away from the classical art stiles and found her own. She began to work in her own genre, using the compositions of natural materials: stones, sand, twigs and managet to take many prizes in local and regional competitions. After that Viktoriia started to paint on wooden eggs and obtained original souvenirs for family and friends . When she heard that Muraviovka park annually hosts a competition "Crane is the bird of peace" she decided to take part in it. Wooden eggs with portraits of cranes amazed park employees and they offered her cooperation. So for two years Viktoriia had been producing Amur souvenirs for visitors of Muraviovka park: painted eggs, wooden wall panels and even fridge magnets - small squares of wood with picture of a tiger on it as a symbol of the nature of the Amur oblast.
